The Turia river is one of the most important in the Valencian Community. Its landscape has a great natural and cultural heritage to discover. One of the surrounding municipalities is Chulilla. It was built next to the rock that surrounds the Turia canyon, which is more than 100 meters deep. Here is a charming medieval castle with a beautiful archway. No less important are its picturesque streets of Moorish origin.
On our excursion we will visit both the town and the hanging bridges route. The latter is a spectacular path through the gorges where the suspension bridges will allow us to cross the canyon. We will see impressive views of this unique landscape. Our naturalist guide, who will accompany us at all times, will take us on an interpretive tour of the riverbank ecosystem and the river's timber uses.
The route is moderate hiking. So, if you want a day of nature from Valencia or Alicante, sign up to discover Chulilla and its canyon. Round trip transportation is included.
