Enjoy Erikindia, a 70-meter route on the cliffs of Morró de Toix, Alicante.
With an aerial rappel, vertical sections, and an exciting chimney, it's perfect for climbers with intermediate experience.
Objectives:
- Experience multi-pitch climbing on equipped rock routes.
- Practice tying the figure-eight knot and belaying with a MegaJul for a safe experience.
- Learn to belay a partner climbing from an anchor station.
- Get to know the gear for multi-pitch climbing.
- Learn basic climbing knots (figure-eight knot).
Target Audience: People who want to get started in rock climbing or climbing artificial walls.
Activity Itinerary:
Start of the route:
- We’ll meet at the Maryvilla residential area at 9:00 AM.
- A 20-minute walk on a trail takes us to the Toix cliffs.
Preparation and Rappel:
- We’ll put on the necessary gear for the activity.
- A thrilling 50-meter aerial rappel will take us to the base of the route.
Ascent of the Erikindia Route:
- First Pitch:
Grade Vº difficulty, vertical and accessible terrain.
We’ll reach the first anchor station before entering the chimney.
- Second Pitch:
An entertaining chimney with an exit onto a steep slab.
A technical move rated 6a+ before reaching the anchor.
- Third Pitch:
Grade IVº difficulty, climbing to the summit.
We’ll pass through a hole in the rock to reach the top.
Descent and Return:
- We’ll pack up the gear at the summit.
- A 25-minute walk will take us back to the car.
Content:
- Basic multi-pitch climbing gear.
- How to gear up.
- How to tie into the rope.
- How to clip and unclip the rope.
- Using a belay device.
- Cross-checking for safety.
- Knots: figure-eight knot.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 or older.
- Level: Intermediate; prior experience required.
- Fitness: Normal physical condition and agility to progress on a 6a+ route over 4–5 hours.
- Experience: Required.
- Training: Not necessary.
- Difficulty: 6a+.
Required Gear:
- Comfortable clothing suitable for sports and the season.
- Backpack (approx. 30 liters).
- 1-liter water bottle.
- Food.
- Sunscreen.
Start Time: Based on availability (see reservation calendar).
Languages: Spanish and English.
Meeting Point: Partida Maryvilla, 66-40, 03710 Calpe, Alicante, Spain.
Exact location and meeting time will be decided a few days before the activity to ensure the best conditions.

- You can book individually, but a minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity.
- If the minimum is not met, we will notify you and refund your payment.

Certifications
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or modification requests must be submitted through a message from the reservation page on MiReservaOnline.es to ensure a written record of the date and time of the request.
A 99% refund of the amount paid will be granted if the cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the start of the experience.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the experience (unless a medical certificate is provided) or in the case of no-shows.
