Complete tour of Seville: Cathedral and Real Alcazar

Two monuments in Seville that visually summarize its history very well are the Real Alcázar and the Cathedral. In our guided tour, you will take a complete tour of both, without waiting in line.

We will explore the different eras and historical styles of the Real Alcázar, which is still used by the Royal Family during their visits to Seville. We will walk through its rooms while discovering its secrets. From the Real Alcázar, we will visit spaces of great beauty such as the Mudéjar Palace (14th century), built under the reign of King Pedro I, showcasing the multiculturalism of that time. We will continue to the Gothic Palace, belonging to the time of King Alfonso, where we will see the Tapestry Room (18th century), as well as the grand Hall. Of course, we will visit the Patio del Yeso, dating back to the 12th century and one of the best-preserved areas in this Alcázar, as it retains its Mudéjar plasterwork. Not to forget the gardens, which are the oldest in the city, a floral paradise inhabited by exotic animals such as peacocks.

Afterwards, we will visit the impressive Cathedral, which will leave you speechless with its architecture. It is considered the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world in terms of area, known as the "Magna Hispalensis." It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Among the curiosities of this temple is the fact that it houses the tomb of the explorer Christopher Columbus. In the Patio de los Naranjos, we will see the traces of its past as a mosque. We will finish by climbing the emblematic Giralda, the bell tower of the Seville Cathedral and also the former Almohad minaret of the mosque.
