Bilbao experienced enormous industrial development during the 19th century. There were two different social classes in that time: the worker class and the bourgeois or financial one. The footprint of that time is reflected on two different sides of the Nervión River.
During our tour of the Vizcaya Bridge, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, we will discover these areas. On the left bank of the river we will see the medieval town of Portugalete, which preserves its narrow streets and its routes on the Camino de Santiago.
On the other hand, we'll see Getxo in the right side with its Las Arenas beach and its elegant Neguri palaces. Without forgetting the typical hundred-year-old houses of the Old Port of Algorta and the spectacular views from Punta Galea.
All of this and much more awaits you on this guided excursion for you and your group.
