An ideal way to stroll around and get to know the centre of Malaga is to do so with the company of a guide. On our guided tour we will enjoy a pleasant two-hour walk through the picturesque Old Town and visit the Cathedral.
We will start in the Plaza de la Merced, a square that had different uses throughout its history, and was closely related to liberal politics. There we will find the sculpture of the illustrious Pablo Picasso seated on a bench, and his birthplace -nowadays home to the Picasso Foundation-.
Throughout the tour, we will get to know the historical roots of Malaga, and emblematic places such as Calle Granada and the Church of Santiago. We will also pass through the Plaza Constitución, and we will see the Pasaje de Chinitas, and the nineteenth-century shopping street Calle Larios.
We will finally arrive at the Plaza del Obispo, where the majestic Cathedral of the Incarnation, known as ‘La Manquita’, awaits us for a visit.
A perfect plan for your visit to Malaga.
