Paseo del Arte (The Art Walk): Prado Museum + Reina Sofía Museum + Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Small Group

The Paseo del Arte in Madrid is one of the favorite areas for art and culture lovers in the city. This promenade connects three of the most important museums in Spain: the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia National Art Center and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.

The Prado Museum is one of the most outstanding museums in the world. Its collection has more than 8,000 paintings, sculptures and other art objects. Here you can contemplate masterpieces by geniuses such as Velázquez, El Greco, Goya, Titian and Rubens.

The Reina Sofia National Art Center houses some of the most famous works in the history of contemporary art, including the iconic large canvas of Picasso's Guernica. It also has an incredible collection of works by 20th century artists, both Spanish and European. We can see works by Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Francis Bacon.

Another must-see museum on this tour is the Thyssen-Bornemisza. Here we can admire canvases by Ghirlandaio, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso or Dalí.

In our complete guided tour through the Art Walk, we will start the route at the Prado Museum. We will continue through the so-called Landscape of Light, the axis that connects the Paseo del Prado with the Retiro Park and is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
