Valencia in one day from Alicante and Benidorm

Valencia has a wide cultural legacy to this day, as it preserves a great heritage and at the same time is a symbol of the avant-garde. Without forgetting its unique nature that surrounds it.

During our excursion we will visit the buildings of Santiago Calatrava. These are true icons of the city, and at the same time the best-known scientific and cultural leisure complex: the City of Arts and Sciences.

Contrasting with the above, we will go to the Cathedral, which brought together different architectural styles throughout its history, from the Romanesque to the Baroque. We will see inside it pieces such as the Holy Chalice. We will also visit the Basilica of the Virgen de los Desamparados, the patron saint of the city. In the Central Market we will see all the stalls with fresh, local food of the highest quality. 

You could relax having some tapas in a sunny terrace before continuing sightseeing the Lonja de la Seda, a jewel of civil Gothic where its "entorxadas" columns stand out.

We will end our day enjoying the nature of the Albufera de Valencia, declared a natural park in 1986. We will fall in love with its charming flora and fauna. We will know its history and the value that this place has for the Valencian ecosystem.
