The Astronomical Observatory of Calar Alto is the largest that exists in continental Europe, and in Spain after that of Tenerife. A privileged place to contemplate the Universe. Their telescopes have an opening of up to 3.5 meters. It is a Spanish-German astronomical center, operated by the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia and the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy of Heidelberg.
In this experience we will observe in real time and like an astronomer the stars or the Moon (according to the time or the weather conditions). We will enjoy a full day of Astrotourism which includes a guided tour of the Calar Alto Observatory. At night, you can choose a projection of the Universe and astronomical observation on the outside, or an observation of the Moon in real time. Both options take place at Posada del Candil which is a rural accommodation distinguished with the Starlight stamp.
From 10:30 am to 1:30 pm: reception and delivery of special welcome package. Guided visit to the Astronomic Observatory of Calar Alto.
At 2:00 pm: lunch.

Important: - For security reasons of the Observatory, this activity requires a minimum age of 8 years. - once booked the activity, the company (Anera Travel) will confirm you the availability to enjoy it, since the activity depending on the availability of Calar Alto. In case of the activity couldn't be done, will be refund the 100% of the amount paid or the company will offer you another choice.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation request must be made through a message from the reservation page on MiReservaOnline.es so that the date and time of the request is written.
If you cancel 48 hours prior to the event, you will receive the amoutn you paid minus 2€ which is a management fee.
There is no refund if you cancel less tan 48 hours before your visit.
Nor will any amount be refunded if the customer is delayed at the time of collection, thus losing the right to transport and visit.
Important: once in Sierra Nevada, in case of bad weather conditions, the guides and the company will value about the suitability of doing the activity or not. But in once done the transport to Sierra Nevada you cannot change the day of the tour neither recover the amount paid.
