Target Audience: People looking to start rock climbing or climbing on artificial walls.
Activity Program:
Approach: We will meet at the Castala Via Ferrata parking lot and then walk for about 10 minutes to the start of the ferrata.
Ferrata Activity:
- A brief explanation of the equipment, with games.
- We will start climbing up the steps, gaining height and learning how to clip carabiners. We'll ascend about 60 meters straight to a 10-meter Tibetan bridge. After crossing, we will continue ascending via iron rungs, reaching another ascent that leads us to a 20-meter zip line. This is optional, and you can continue through a section that crosses a beam bridge, like a tightrope cable.
- After the zip line, we’ll descend a 5-meter ladder, then continue up the steps to reach the famous pendulum. Once across, with its stunning views, we will encounter a 50-meter zip line that will bring us back to the ground.
Return: We will descend along the trail back to the car, which will take approximately 25 minutes.
