Objectives:

- Enjoy a multi-pitch rock climbing experience on equipped routes.
- Master the figure-eight knot and belaying with a MegaJul for a safe climb.
- Learn how to belay a partner from an anchor point.
- Familiarize yourself with multi-pitch climbing gear.
- Learn basic climbing knots (figure-eight knot).

Target Audience: Individuals who want to start climbing on rock or artificial walls.

Activity Itinerary:

Meeting Point: Maryvilla Urbanization.

Approach: A 20-minute trail to the Toix cliffs.

Preparation: Gear fitting and setting up the 50-meter rappel.

Start of the Route: Traverse three pitches to reach the vertical section.

Climbing Details:
- 4th Pitch: Rock with a scaly texture, comfortable holds, and excellent grip.
- 5th Pitch: Slabs and a dihedral with breathtaking views, leading to the summit.

Descent: Pack up the gear and return on foot (25 minutes) to the car.

Content:

- Basic multi-pitch climbing gear.
- How to equip yourself.
- How to tie in with a rope.
- How to unclip and clip the rope.
- Belaying techniques using a Reverso.
- Cross-checking.
- Knots: figure-eight on a bight.

Requirements:

- Age: Adults only.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Physical Fitness: Normal physical condition and agility to complete a V-grade route in a 4–5-hour session.

Necessary Equipment:

- Comfortable sportswear suitable for the season.
- A 30L backpack.
- 1L water bottle.
- Snacks.
- Sunscreen.

Start Time: To be scheduled based on availability (check the booking calendar).

Languages: Spanish and English.

Meeting Point: Partida Maryvilla, 66-40, 03710 Calpe, Alicante, Spain.
Exact location and meeting time will be confirmed a few days before the activity to ensure optimal conditions.
