Two must-see attractions in Madrid are the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace. The Prado Museum is the most important museum in Spain and one of the most important in the world. It houses a large collection of artworks by key artists in the Art History, such as Goya, Velázquez and Rubens. On the other hand, the Royal Palace of Madrid is the largest in Europe. Today it is used for institutional and official events.
In our guided tour, we will start at the Prado National Museum where we will contemplate emblematic masterpieces of great Old Masters: El Greco, Velázquez, Goya, El Bosco and Rubens.
Afterwards, we will go to the Royal Palace to let ourselves fall in love with its luxury halls and corridors. We will discover how the members of the Spanish Royal House lived and we'll see a real relic: the best collection of string quartet instruments in the world, made by Antonio Stradivari.
A charming walk through the art and history of Madrid, where we will not miss some of its most iconic streets and squares.
