Gran Canaria is a miniature continent. We will cross the island from north to south.
We will visit the Maspalomas Dunes, one of the natural and tourist icons of the Canary Islands. We'll continue to the viewpoint of Las Yeguas contemplating views of the imposing caldera of Tirajana, with 22 square kilometers.
Our trip will continue going up to the village of Fataga, better known as the valley of the 1,000 palm trees. We will continue to the village of Tunte, where we will buy our picnic lunch and make a short visit to the church.
We will pass very close to the viewpoint of Roque Nublo, having lunch in the plains of La Pez. We could visit the Parador Nacional de Tejeda and its viewpoint at Bentayga. We'll also visit Santa Brígida, where its agricultural past is reflected in the elements of popular architecture still preserved.
