Enjoy an exhilarating psicobloc adventure in Calahonda, where you’ll climb up to 15 meters above the sea on stunning limestone walls. This activity includes all the necessary equipment and offers breathtaking views of the nearby beaches. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to unleash your potential, this is a safe and spectacular environment to test your limits.
Objectives:
- Gain your first experience climbing over water in a saltwater setting.
- Practice safe psicobloc techniques in pairs using rigid kayaks.
- Learn proper fall reception techniques.
- Supervise your climbing partner’s performance and ensure a safe fall.
- Discover safe approaches to the base of each route.
- Familiarize yourself with the varying difficulties of psicobloc routes.
- Learn efficient climbing techniques to maintain good grip, even when wet.
Who is it for? Designed for individuals who want to try this unique style of climbing.
Course Program:
Approach: We’ll meet at the Calahonda fishing port parking area, then walk to the kiosk where we’ll rent double kayaks for the activity. Each pair will receive a dry bag and personal life jackets.
Climbing Activity: We’ll paddle to the furthest point of the climbing routes to warm up on the easier ones. Then, we’ll work our way back along the coastline, tackling blocks with increasing difficulty and height.
At the end of the session, we’ll paddle back to return the kayaks.
Return: We’ll paddle back along the coastline to the beach, organizing and packing up the gear.
Course Content:
- Introduction to psicobloc.
- Necessary equipment.
- How to paddle a two-person rigid kayak.
- Approaching the starting point of a route.
- Proper fall reception techniques.
- Supervising and guiding your climbing partner’s fall.
- Understanding route difficulty levels.
- Managing the dynamics of climbing over water.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 or older.
- Experience: No prior climbing experience required.
- Fitness: Normal physical condition and agility. Difficulty levels will be adapted to the participant’s abilities.
- Skill Level: Beginner (Grades IV-V).
What to Bring:
- Comfortable sportswear appropriate for the season.
- 30L backpack (approx.).
- 1L bottle of water.
- Snacks or light food.
- Sunscreen.
- Small towel.
- Plastic bag.

- Individual bookings are allowed, but a minimum of two participants is required.
- If the minimum is not met, you’ll be notified and your payment will be refunded.

Certifications
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or modification requests must be made through a message from the booking page on MiReservaOnline.es so that there is a written record of the date and time of the request.
100% of the amount paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
No refund will be given if the cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the experience (except for medical justification), or if the client does not show up.
