Discover rock climbing in Los Cahorros, Granada, in the natural setting of the Monachil River. Angélico offers 20-meter climbing routes on dolomitic limestone, ideal for beginners. Enjoy a unique experience with small holds and medium jugs, in an iconic area dating back to the 1970s.
Objectives:
- Have a first experience with single-pitch rock climbing on equipped routes.
- Learn how to tie the figure-eight knot and belay with a Grigri to ensure a safe climbing experience.
- Practice belaying a partner climbing on top-rope.
- Get familiar with sport climbing equipment.
- Learn the figure-eight knot for sport climbing.
Who is it for: People looking to start climbing on rock or artificial walls.
Program:
Approach: We will meet at the Era de los Portachuelos parking lot, then walk about 20 minutes to the climbing sector, crossing a suspension bridge along the way.
Climbing activity: On this wall, we’ll have time to climb around four routes on top rope and belay our partners on at least four other routes. When the time comes, we’ll break down the routes and organize the equipment.
Return: We’ll walk back the same way, which will take approximately 20 minutes.

- Difficulty level: Introductory (grades IV, V).
Necessary Equipment:
- Comfortable clothing appropriate for sports and the season.
- Backpack (about 30L).
- Water bottle (1L).
- Food.
- Sunscreen.

The exact location and meeting time will be decided in the days prior to the course date to ensure we can enjoy the best possible conditions for the activity.

Certifications
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or modification requests must be made via a message from the booking page on MiReservaOnline.es so that a written record of the date and time of the request can be made.
100% of the amount paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
No refund will be given if the cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the experience (except for medical justification), or if the client does not show up.
