Objectives:
- Have a first experience of rock climbing on single-pitch equipped routes.
- Learn to tie a figure-eight knot and belay with a grigri for a safe experience.
- Learn to belay a partner climbing in top rope.
- Get to know sport climbing equipment.
- Learn how to tie into the rope for sport climbing (figure-eight knot).
Who it's for: People looking to get started with rock climbing or climbing on artificial walls.
Program:
- Approach: We will meet at the parking lot of the Ermita De Los Tres Juanes, then walk about 3 minutes to the climbing sector.
- Climbing activity: On this wall, we will have time to climb around four routes in top rope and belay our partners on at least four others. Once the time is up, we will take down the routes and organize the equipment for storage.
- Return: We’ll descend the same path back to the car, which will take us another 3 minutes approximately.

- What sport climbing is.
- Basic sport climbing equipment.
- How to gear up.
- How to tie into the rope.
- How to clip the rope.
- How to unclip the rope.
- How to belay with a grigri (basic technique).
- Cross check.
- Knot: figure-eight follow through.
Requirements:
- Must be of legal age.
- Introductory activity, no previous experience required.
- Normal physical condition and agility required.
- Difficulty is adapted to the participant's physical and technical ability.
- Prior experience: Not required.
- Prior training: Not required.
- Difficulty: Beginner level IV, V.
Required equipment:
- Comfortable clothing suitable for sports and the time of year.
- Backpack (approx. 30 liters).
- Water bottle (1L).
- Food.
- Sunscreen.

100% of the amount paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
No refund will be given if the cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the experience (unless a medical certificate is provided) or if the customer does not show up.
