The intermediate-level K4 via cordata "Los Vados" offers an exciting 2-kilometer route with a height of 220 meters and breathtaking views of the valley. Objectives:
- Experience climbing a via ferrata.
- Learn to safely navigate a via ferrata.
Ideal for: Individuals ready to step up to more challenging via cordata routes.
Activity Program:
1. Approach (10 minutes):
- Start: From the parking area, begin with gear already on and roped in ensemble.
- Trail: A 10-minute hike on a narrow, zigzagging path leads to the starting point of the via cordata.
2. Via Cordata Activity (3 hours 10 minutes):
- Start of the route: Brief safety explanation, then begin climbing using steel rungs.
- First section: Climb to a large terrace, continue on the rungs to the first gear transition point.
- Second section: Ascend to a narrow balcony without rungs (just one foot wide). Continue upwards, navigating a zigzag path with a lifeline. Stop at a large terrace for water and snacks.
- Third section: Climb steeper rungs to a descending balcony, then descend using the lifeline to the third gear transition point.
- Final stretch: Complete the ascent while enjoying views of the sea and Salobreña. Stop for photos on a metal-grid platform before reaching the summit.
3. Return (40 minutes):
- Descent: Hike along the mountain ridge to La Canal, retrace the approach trail to return to the car park (approximately 40 minutes).

- How to use carabiners and attach to the lifeline.
- Transition techniques.
Requirements:
- Age: 18+
- Experience: At least three previous ferratas of K3 difficulty or demonstrable climbing skills (5th grade). Participants must have normal physical fitness and agility to navigate a K4 via cordata over two hours.
- Prior training: Not required.
- Experience level: Intermediate K4.
Required Gear:
- Comfortable sports clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Backpack (approx. 30 liters).
- 1L water bottle.
- Snacks.
- Sunscreen.
Start Time: According to availability (see booking calendar).
Languages: Spanish and English.
Meeting Point*: Tajo Los Vados Tourist Attraction, 18600 Motril, Granada, Spain.
*Exact location and meeting time will be confirmed a few days before the activity to ensure the best conditions for the course.

- If the minimum is not reached, we will notify you and issue a refund.

Certifications
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or modification requests must be made via a message from the booking page on MiReservaOnline.es so that a written record of the date and time of the request can be made.
100% of the amount paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
No refund will be given if the cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the experience (except for medical justification), or if the client does not show up.
