Compromiso de calidad turística is a quality distinction which recognises the effort made by a destination in continuous improvement of its services' quality, aiming to enhance the tourist experience and satisfaction. It is promoted by a Spanish government (Secretaría de Estado de Turismo del Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo de España).
This distinction is a guarantee that the touristic facilities and services offer a high level of quality not only for a given company, but for the destination as a whole. For that puropose, a series of standards and audits (both common and specific for each sector) are met.
